Purpose Of Clarification Text and Scope
As LUNA ELEKTRİK ELEKTRONİK SANAYİ VE TİCARET ANONİM ŞİRKETİ, we take precautions to protect your personal data under the Personal Data Protection Law numbered 6698 (hereinafter referred to as “Law”). We process your personal data within the scope of legal regulation as of “Data Controller” under the reasons and methods described below.
By LUNA ELEKTRİK ELEKTRONİK SANAYİ VE TİCARET ANONİM ŞİRKETİ, this Clarification Text on the Processing of Personal Data has been prepared transparently to inform you about the rights that you have as specified in Article 10 of the Law with the title “Obligation of Data Controller to Inform”. This Clarification Text includes the identity of the data controller, the method of collection of the personal data and legal basis, the purpose of the processing of personal data, to whom and for which purposes the processed personal data may be transferred, data process duration and the rights counted in Article 11 of the Law.

Your personal data shall be collected automatically or non-automatically verbal, written or electronically through departments of the Firm, website, social media, call center, mobile applications, etc. Your personal data will be processed by being formed and being updated and also may be protected in digital and physical environments as long as your relationship with the Firm continues.
Your data will be processed and transferred by providing explicit consent condition which has been indicated in Article 5, paragraph 1 of the Law, or within the scope of personal data processing conditions and purposes that has been indicated in Article 5, paragraph 2 “a, c, ç and e” of the Law in accordance with the purposes that had been stated in the title “Your Processed Personal Data and Processing Purposes”.

To Whom and For Which Purposes the Processed Personal Data May be Transferred
According to the Law and related legal regulations, ensuring that all necessary technical and administrative precautions are taken to ensure the pursuant level of security, your personal data, in accordance with the conditions specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law and for the purposes mentioned above, may be transferred to;
- Landis+Gyr Group (of which Luna Elektrik is part of ) and its global affiliates
- Judicial and administrative judicial authorities and so on, to the legally authorized public institutions and organizations
- Private insurance firms and banks
- Lawyers or attorney partnerships for the pursuit of legal affairs
- Tax professionals to conduct of finance and accounting transactions
- Business associates,
- To domestic/ foreign organizations which we receive and/or provide services on a contractual basis to conduct our transactions
Duration of Data Processing and Storage Period
Your personal data, within the limits specified in the Clarification Text hereby; is processed and may be stored until the end of the period required by the relevant legislation. In case of changes in the laws regarding data processing periods, the new period shall be taken into consideration.
When the purpose and reason for the processing of personal data ceases, personal data will be destroyed when the statute of limitations required to fulfill our obligations arising from the law and commercial custom is completed. After the expiration of the period that has been mentioned above, the personal data may be destructed and anonymized.
Rights of Data Subject
The rights of the Data Subject have been indicated in Article 11 of Personal Data Protection Law numbered 6698. It is expected that the applications are pursuant to the “Communiqué on Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller”.
