History

Luna Elektrik Elektronik was founded in 1991 with the aim of developing local and innovative solutions in energy measurement technologies. Since its establishment, we have managed to become not only a manufacturer but also a technology company that shapes technology, aims for sustainability and leads digital transformation.

We expanded our product range by moving our journey, which we started with electromechanical meter production, to microprocessor smart meters, water and heat meters, communication modules and system software in a short time. Today, we offer solutions that contribute to the infrastructure of smart cities with our own designed hardware and software and are used safely at millions of points.

The basis of our development power is our expert engineering staff and R&D infrastructure. Our production activities, which we carry out in accordance with national and international standards, are supported by our total quality management approach.

In 2023, we joined Landis+Gyr, one of the world’s leading energy technology brands, and became part of a global network. With this strategic merger, we have significantly increased both our technological power and our export capacity. Today, as a Turkey-based R&D and production base, we serve our customers in a wide geography from Europe to Africa, from the Middle East to the Far East.

With the knowledge and engineering capabilities we have gained from the past to the present, we will continue to produce pioneering solutions focused on energy efficiency, digitalization and sustainability in the future.
